Nuptials, technicolour and toddlers.
When Kate came to see us with her father who was having a suit made for her wedding she was so impressed with the process she decided to allow us to make the wedding outfits for her husband to be and little boy Theo. The ensemble had to reflect the character of the trio: Ben – outdoorsy, Kate – formerly of the theatre (wicked!), and Theo – 2 years old and the apple of their eye. After a couple of consultations involving lots of discussion about colour theme we were able to come up with an all encompassing design. Tweed and technicolour in two sizes!

Ben already had a penchant for design in that once he saw what he wanted, once he had made the initial fabric selection, everything else fell into place and as obvious. Fitting little Theo wasn’t so easy as we had to carefully consider how we were going to get him into the tiny waistcoat we had tailored to match him with his daddy – nothing building block distraction couldn’t overcome.
The Suit
Beige tweed three piece with dark brown buttons and dark brown contrast stitching to match. The AbFab lining was on the inside of the jacket, back of the waistcoats and also inside the breast pocket to give the option of a pocket square.
