Our tailors use treadless mechanics to ensure flexible, neat and long lasting seems. Each piece of cloth it positioned by hand to ensure that the patterns match perfect from the back to the front, where the shoulders meet the arm, the top and bottom of the collar and also the sleeve vents. This is particularly important when it comes to shirts with a noticeable weave or pattern. The ethos is about making the wearer look as if they are wearing a shirt entirely crafted of one continuous piece of cloth and not a patchwork.

The staple of Egyptian cotton is very long. During the combing of the cotton before weaving we stretch that staple to give the cotton a memory of being straight. This results in the shirts holding their shape very well and not creasing as much.
